Business Development Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies
- Drive new revenue growth
- Achieve agreed sales targets, margins, and growth KPIs across products and regions.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise new local and international market opportunities.
- Lead market entry initiatives, partner identification and onboarding, pilot programmes, trials, and proof-of-concept deployments and Go-to-market strategies and pricing models
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
- Support and respond to tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Represent the company in regulatory forums, industry engagements, and stakeholder meetings.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, SLAs, and distribution contracts.
- Manage and grow key strategic accounts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Translate technical and compliance requirements into clear commercial value propositions.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for key programmes and strategic accounts.
- Oversee commercial performance post-implementation.
- Ensure effective handover to operations, installation, monitoring, and support teams.
- Maintain long-term customer satisfaction, programme performance, and contract renewals.
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline by product, market, and region.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and market-entry business cases.
- Track KPIs, margins, and contract performance.
- Provide regular performance and strategic reports to senior management.

Electro-Technical Officer
Qualifications and role requirements:
- Each position will need to hold the required Certificate of Competency issued by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) only
- At least 2 years serving in the position on a tanker.
- In possession of a valid Tanker Endorsements in CoC (Advanced Training for Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations) and valid certificates for all STCW’78 (as amended) required training courses.

I would recommend that your initial search focuses on qualifications/experience on tankers requirements as these are quite scarce in SA.
Chief Engineering Officer
Qualifications and role requirements:

- At least 2 years serving in the position on a tanker.
- In possession of a valid Tanker Endorsements in CoC (Advanced Training for Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations) and valid certificates for all STCW’78 (as amended) required training courses.
Geologist
Qualifications and role requirements:
- Matric
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or equivalent
- Registered with the National Council of Science of South Africa
- Competent Person accreditation as defined by SAMREC and SEC guidelines
- Strata Control Certificate
- Rock Mechanics, Hard Rock Paper 1, 2, and 3.1 qualification
- Certificate in 5G mining/Digital mining operation compulsory
- Postgraduate degree in relevant technical discipline an advantage
- Min 10 years experience as a Geologist in a hard rock gold/platinum mining environment
- English proficient
- Mandarin proficient preferred
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of PGM exploration and mining geology
- Drillin contract management
- Conduct benchmarking both within the Group and against industry-leading practices
- Excellent knowledge of 5G mining
- Able to set target, deadlines and within the time constraints
